Since our start in 2002, Alliance Hospitality Group has grown to include nine unique restaurants that are located throughout some of the hottest neighborhoods in California.
Our story started with the opening of Coral Tree Café in Brentwood, which was built upon the foundation of wanting to deliver healthy and sustainable food in an inviting and cozy setting. After two successful years with Coral Tree Café, we realized that we had earned a seat at California's venerable food table and were ready to expand into new markets. In 2005, we opened an Express Coral Tree Café in the Westfield Mall in Century City. The year following, we scouted a third location and opened a full-service Coral Tree Café in Encino.
Following the uncertainties of the late 2000s economic forecast, our team at Alliance decided to pivot into the wholesale market and were able to land accounts, including AMC and Commissary, which boosted our annual sales to over $10M. In February of 2014, we opened our new café concept, Comoncy. Comoncy is a cross between an espresso boutique and a European breakfast and lunch spot that is geared towards the Beverly Hills community.
In March of 2015, after the success of our cafés, we were excited to branch into an entirely new market and concept, which led to the introduction of our modern contemporary steakhouse, Baltaire.

Although the setting is casual, we believe we don't have to sacrifice the comfort, style, or authenticity of our food, just because the dining is informal.
In our fine dining establishment, we carefully cultivated a tasteful environment of sophistication, charm, and elegance, bundled up into a modern steakhouse concept. The combination of upscale ambiance with striking mid-century decor, replete with open-air seating and live music, and high quality seafood, craft beverages, and steaks, makes it an experience that Los Angelinos keep coming back for.
We use organic ingredients, where possible, and endeavor to source from local, sustainable, and responsible farmers and food purveyors. The ingredients selected are of the highest quality and are in sync with what is seasonally available. Whether it is fresh fruit, vegetables, fish, or meat, we believe that everything should be selected on taste and quality first and we ensure that our network of suppliers share this same philosophy.
